Alexandria, Va. – Nov. 17, 2020 – In its continuing efforts to ensure safer classrooms throughout the country, AASA, The School Superintendents Association, is teaming up with In Force Technology, LLC, a Boston-based software company that helps schools protect their students and staff in the event of active threats.

The latest addition to AASA’s School Solution Center focuses its software development efforts and strategic mission on improving response times and increasing communications during an active shooter event. School districts partnering with In Force Technology have the ability to immediately and directly notify first responders at local agencies, regardless of location, and have two-way communication during an emergency event to provide mission-critical details needed to end the threat as soon as possible.

“Despite a national pandemic, school safety must remain a focus and the top priority for school districts across the country,” said Brandon Flanagan, CEO, In Force Technology. “Superintendents are aware of the necessity and importance of increasing school safety and security by ensuring a safe teaching environment for our educators and a safe learning environment for staff, faculty and students.”
